During a recent interview with ideamensch, Chackerian shared some insight into his latest business venture. His idea came from collaboration with his long time business partner. Chackerian and his partner have spent years building out-patient diagnostic radiology centers in Northern California. Chackerian believed these centers should be built across the country. He is a firm believer that TMS has the ability to help those struggling with medication-related depression. Chackerian is convinced that TMS has the ability to be the third pillar of psychiatric care, along with medication and talk therapy. He is currently working hard to spread awareness and access to this potentially innovative therapy.
Ara Chackerian has had a big commitment to helping the environment. Specifically he has been focused on a sustainable teak farm in Nicaragua called Limonapa Teak. Limonapa uses environmentally-friendly practices to improve the environment. Furthermore Limonapa provides hundreds of great paying jobs to local member of the community.
